Navigating webpages can be really difficult, completely vary based on the accessibility of each website, and is totally different than reading a physical copy of something. Like— I cannot trust my mom, in her 70s to figure out stuff online, but she taught literature & writing for 40 years.

Right now medical debt is way less political than other kinds of debt like student loan debt, doesn't count against your credit score (but fuck the whole credit system thing) and is way more likely to be forgiven/ dropped over time.

My mom's world opened up for her at age 72, when she met her boyfriend in a zoom grief group during early Covid. She's 77 now and is the happiest I've ever seen her.

My michigan porch tomato plants have been SO sweet— that helped me feel more comfortable with recognizing tomatoes as a fruit. And they're still growing!
