I do think this matters. A Democrat should be willing to support the status quo of 2020 on trans rights. If that's too much then they're supporting the removal of our rights.

Another ICE "assault" case unravels. Border Patrol and ICE are arresting US citizens and then after they find out that they are US citizens, they are charging them with "assault" to justify their actions. This is clearly DHS policy at this point. We've seen it repeatedly now.

I feel like the people defending Colbert should rewatch that interview and compare how he speaks to Lander and Mamdani. The way he constructs the questions, including the “Cuomo knows where the bodies are buried” question, was bad faith. He didn’t HAVE to phrase it that way to “give them runway.”
