Many years ago, the course database system at Deakin required an abbreviated name of a particular maximum character length. The course "Digital and Analog Electronics" had an abbreviation of "Digital and Anal Electrons".

'Independent' recommendation of decisions already made by management is essentially the only remaining use case for employing consultants. See especially Australian universities over the last two decades.
