I like to make things.
I used to make things professionally, now I make things for fun.

I could not wait for this version of Space Mountain to open. I snapped this around 1994 at Disneyland Paris.

I was there, Gandalf. I was there 3000 years ago. I was at Disneyland when there was only one park you could walk to from your car.

When Disney replaced Bugs Land at DCA with the Avengers Campus, we were tasked with building a working prop that Ant Man or the Wasp could carry around with them. I built all the rides, the restroom and a vending cart and we printed them out really, really tiny. There were two used at the park.

So I've been on a cleaning bender for awhile now and just found these images of a steam powered robot. I made a short live action film about 15 years ago. The story wasn't great, but it looked really cool. These guys were essentially dockworkers.

1922 was a banner year for Coca Cola. Here's the original Coke polar bear!

If you haven't had a look at Three Panel Soul, you're missing out. This one made me snort out my coffee.

Here's some attraction photos from Park Aventura. If I find any of my photos I'll post em here.

In '98 Vegas was still in the theme park game. Star Trek the Experience opened at the Las Vegas Hilton, and Rhythm & Hues was invited to the opening festivities. (I animated most of the show, with the exception of the Crellian Dyzan. (the space cows))

In 93' While ILM was animating dinosaurs, Rhythm and Hues was working on a motion base ride for a now defunct theme park in Japan. I built a lot of models for Seafari, including the whale sub, but this was also my first animation gig. Lorne Lanning was the art director.

So we're cleaning out the picture closet where Teresa and I store all our memories and I found this. Yeah. Year I graduated from high school. The San Diego Comic Con was a lot smaller 36 years ago, but damn, it was cool.

Yeah, jet-lag has gotten the best of me this week, but I did finish this portable missile launcher I designed while on vacation. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Man eating plants. Gotta watch out for them.

I'm really glad I picked this Silly Symphony pencil cup at Disneyland when I did. I am always running out of places to drop used pens, pencils and scissors, so they tend to get lost.

This sign confused me. At first I thought it was a winding road, but then I wondered if the snakes on Gibraltar were just lazy.

While traveling, I feel the urge to draw, since I can't build things. As soon as I get home, this is the next asset I will build for one of my personal projects.

The tombstone is finished and set up in the yard. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out!

I know it's not canon, but Luke just wanted to see what World of Motion was all about.

I finished the repaint of that plaster relief I turned into a tombstone. I made it darker and plan on using UV paint to light up her eyes.

I bought this model kit about fifteen years ago. It's the Möwe, a jet powered glider from Nausicaä and the Valley of the Wind. I started it during the Covid-19 and then put it aside. I finally finished it tonight and I'm pretty happy with the final piece.

Holy shit, it worked! My Haunted Mansion plaque is nearly there! And the lighting makes it look *great*! #Disneyland

Here's a tombstone I made 20 years ago from a plaster relief I found at a home and garden store. I need to repaint it before I put it out in the yard.

It feels like my Haunted Mansion plaque is finally coming together. I sprayed primer first, followed by a dark, textured stone spray paint, covered that in a satin finish hunter green and dusted it with matte Spanish moss. #Disneyland
