This is excellent news! Spack is an incredible tool within the HPC software management space, but I also use it on my own Linux machine to manage builds and environments. Like conda for compiled code.

And there’s soooooo much wasted disk space installing every package 9001 times across venvs. One of the things I like about spack is that there is a global install cache and then it just assembles a local view with links.
