This is a superb speech by @governor.ca.gov just now.

Clear. Strong. Simple. Direct. Angry—in a way that appeals to the best in people, not the worst. Seven plus minutes of the most effective rhetoric in response to Trump.

This is how you want a leader to talk.

I will forever be haunted by this footage.

Trawling has only been filmed underwater a few times in documentary history, and never with such clarity.

What’s so heart-rending about these shots is watching how the animals don’t just get swept up — they swim for their lives.

Right now, Dems are hiding in their offices, scrolling their phones fearfully, wondering "how are voters going to feel about the National Guard being deployed?"

The right, meanwhile, is vigorously *attempting to shape* how voters feel about it, filling every medium with coordinated propaganda.

You’re watching fascist propaganda.

Effectively a full repeal of the largest climate bill in history. There’s no strategy for America’s future. We all get sicker and pay more in energy bills and suffer climate disasters, while some rich folks pay less in taxes. That’s it. Disgraceful.
The House Republican's budget bill is starting to drop. It extends trillions in tax cuts for the wealthy while effectively crippling US manufacturing & energy industries and raising energy costs. It's effectively full repeal of the IRA. Here's tax portion waysandmeans.house.gov/wp-content/u... 🔌💡

Its awesome Dems are going into red districts and doing these townhalls when the GOP rep won't, but it would be better for the midterms if they brought along a Dem candidate for that district
Kevin Kiley refuses to talk to his constituents about their health care and social security. Because he WON’T protect it. So, I went to Folsom and talked to them.

Democrats need to do these press conferences with every shitty thing Trump does. Go to auto plants that just laid off workers, go to farmers that can’t sell their crops. Go to research labs that have lost funding. Show your country and the world that you’re pissed off at this shitshow!!!!

So far, the president’s freeze on climate and infrastructure law spending has been covered as a constitutional issue.

But Trump is also about to start breaching hundreds of federal contracts — and *that* could soon open a new front in the legal war. I wrote about it:

The Next Front of Trump’s Renewables War Is Contract Law
And that’s on top of the constitutional questions.
