PART of the problem is there's more orange than black in that chart now, but worse is that the last four years have each had more sets than the first 6 years of magic combined

That's the biggest problem. They've just pushed too much product to make more money each year. UB is only one part of that.

UB itself is one issue, but the bigger problem with Magic that UB is only accelerating is there's just too much Magic.

Used to bet we got 3 sets a year, 4 with the core set.

Now they release like 20 sets in a year. Its just way too many cards.
