Not disagreeing with your point or anything, but I'm not sure I'd call it an enviable level of comfort if you're basically one bad flu away from losing your job and becoming homeless. It's really not working for Americans either.

Nur wenn du dem Kapitalismus irgendwie Gutmütigkeit unterstellst. Nach rein "marktwirtschaftlichen" Prinzipien hast du den bestmöglichen Job gemacht, wenn alle gratis arbeiten oder du alle feuern kannst, Hauptsache du musst niemanden bezahlen. Darum braucht es Regulierung. Wie man sieht.

I've been to the US many times and always enjoyed my time there, but at the moment I'm genuinely afraid I might end up detained or worse, and I'm not sure I'll ever be back.

Yeah, I know the feeling. Seems to be an easy mindset to fall into as well, which is why it's come back at least twice since the 90s, from what I remember.

He's also not a fundamentally bad person. I made the same comparison the first time Trump was elected, but honestly, Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho actually meant well, he was just kind of dumb and bombastic.
