I have often thought that using digital modes in the field can be excessive. However, with the alternative firmware for #X6100 from R1CBU, working with FT4 and FT8 is a joy. There’s no need for extra laptops or tablets—just a transceiver, and the log is stored on a memory card. #pota #sota #hamradio

Super idea, great performance, excellent quality and parameters. However, if it is to be used as a standalone recorder, this is a major drawback. It is impossible to set the time for the files to be named correctly. #dji #djimic2 #disappointed

I tested a quickly built ad-hoc Moxon antenna for #LEO satellite communication. The construction may be rough, but it functions well. During an optimal pass of #ISS, I had a good reception. Unfortunately, there were so many participants, so I couldn’t make a successful QSO. Maybe next time! 😉 #amsat

I finally got around to installing the X50 antenna on the roof while the weather was still nice. I'll be using this setup to monitor local activity on the VHF and UHF bands. Let's give it a try! #hamradio #antenna #vhfuhfradio #vhfuhf

I saw this when I opened up my new #Yaesu FT-710. 🫤 That was before I had the CW keying problem. It's a very nice device, but I must be extremely unlucky. 😤

I find it hard to believe, but my #X6100 mobile backup radio will share the fate of the #FT-710, which went for service ☹️ Unfortunately, the #Xiegu has stopped charging the internal battery. When the external power supply is connected, the power is limited to 5W. Law of series 🤬 #badluck
