People who think drugs like semaglutide and tirzepatide are only for "aesthetics" need to fuck off too. Aside from diabetes, there's promising research for GLP-1s in neuropsychiatry too.

The issue is we still have liberals calling themselves leftists.

I'm deffo more a dog person than a cat person, but the little affectionate kitty nibbles still get me every time.

I think HD-2D would be great, or even HD-2.5D (a la Octopath). The environments in CT were beautiful and I'd love to see places like Zeal in higher res. And if they could get Mitsuda to rearrange the score (while remaining faithful to the original) using a full orchestra and not chiptune, I'd die.

No. Bringing classics to modern platforms so people in younger generations can enjoy them too is a good thing, actually.

Most remakes are done by small (or outsourced) teams & often don't negatively impact the development of main titles or new IPs. FF7R's the obvious exception to this due to scope.

No Will, we just think you're stupid and have bad takes. Especially your "vibecession" takes during 2024 where you insisted on "pointing to the data" that the economy was "good".

You being an unlikeable twat doesn't mean we abuse you for fun. You just need to be told you're wrong more often.

That's a fair stance.

I think caution is a fairer and more balanced approach compared to outright dismissal.

See? This is something I hadn't seen before and is more than just "she critiqued Harris".

While this is definitely suspect, I've followed her work since ~2022 and I've seen nothing to indicate she's an op. I think the events in Palestine definitely shifted her views.
March 25, 2025 at 1:49 AM
PLEASE tell me you're not so politically illiterate to think anyone not a Democrat is a Republican.

You ARE aware there are parties MORE liberal and to the left of Dems, right? Right? Please say you are.
March 25, 2025 at 1:25 AM
Are you seriously this dense? There's more than two parties, even if they don't have electoral viability. People to the left of what the Dems have turned into in 2024 are allowed to be critical of the path their former party took.

We're now TO THE LEFT of the Dems, not right.
March 25, 2025 at 1:22 AM
I absolutely give a shit about black people, which is why I'm critical of how the Dems ran their campaign. You're choosing to be ignorant of race in America if you don't think the vast majority of white folks lump Dominicans, esp ones that look like Cruz, into the Black column when prejudices count.
March 24, 2025 at 11:45 PM
Ah yes, famous definitely-not-daughter-of-a-Bush-war-criminal and definitely-a-Dem Liz Cheney.
March 24, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Oh please, accusations of anti-Blackness get nowhere with me. You're just assuming I harbor anti-Black sentiment because I'm white even though I voted for someone who would be quite consistently called Black in America today (she's of Dominican/PR descent).
March 24, 2025 at 11:37 PM
She's saying Kat Abu is a "faux dem", because she had the nerve to criticize the DNC and the Harris campaign during the 2024 election. And now she's calling everyone else who didn't kiss the ring in 2024 a "faux dem' in the replies.
March 24, 2025 at 11:34 PM
This is a picture of who I voted for. A woman of color. Accusations of racism get NOWHERE w/ me.

Misogyny and racism may play a part in Harris's wider electability in red states she wasn't going to win anyway, but that's not why people who support Kat (A PALESTINIAN WOMAN OF COLOR) dislike Harris.
March 24, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Are you even capable of critiquing your own party? Harris threw the game in the 11th hour because the oligarchic donor class was scared Walz was building popularity with populist economic policies and friendliness to unions.

It's why Harris snubbed Sean O'Brien and the entirety of the Teamsters.
March 24, 2025 at 11:26 PM
Also, Harris insulted the Teamsters President at their own event, losing many working class voters & union members. She told Sean O'Brien "I'm going to win with or without you" to his face when he tried asking hard questions. That was a MAJOR gaffe that cost IMPORTANT swing state votes.
March 24, 2025 at 11:24 PM
The DNC gave in to the donor class before the election. They demanded Walz stop being such a pit bull for populist policies, they cancelled his solo speaking engagements, then they told him to go easy on Vance at the debate. That lost a lot of the enthusiasm & momentum Walz helped build for Harris.
March 24, 2025 at 11:22 PM
Ah yes, I'm a "racist misogynist dirtbag" for voting for a woman of color. I guess Claudia de la Cruz isn't woman enough for you? Or is too white for you?

The Harris campaign outspent Trump almost 3:1 and still lost. $1.2B in funds raised and she spent it on Beyonce & Oprah, not actual campaigning.
March 24, 2025 at 11:18 PM
As I said to the other lady who tried to call me racist for voting for a different woman of color from Harris:

If you're too deep in your feelings to be critical of your own party, the party doesn't need you. Those like you are why Dems will continue to lose.

Look inward, reflect, adapt, move on.
March 24, 2025 at 11:13 PM
Maybe because Harris was a terrible candidate & ppl with half a mind for politics knew Trump had a chance to win the moment that a) Biden went back on his promise to be a 1-term president and b) followed up by refusing to hold a primary, instead coronating the least popular major candidate of 2020.
March 24, 2025 at 11:11 PM
Ah yes, I'm sorry. Clearly, Palestinian-American journalist Kat Abu, who worked with Mehdi Hasan, who got her notoriety by calling out Fox News' bullshit for the last 4~5 years is notoriously a member of the GOP.

Either put up proof (that isn't merely her being critical of Dems) or shut the fuck up
March 24, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Being critical and analyzing why you lost (or having the foresight to see that the DNC was playing dangerous games with Harris, someone already deeply unpopular in 2020) doesn't make someone fake.

If you're too in your feelings to look critically at your party's failures, the party doesn't need you
March 24, 2025 at 10:59 PM
What makes her a "faux dem"? The fact she criticized how the DNC handled the party in 2024?

The fact the people had no say (no primary) in their candidate contributed to Harris losing. Harris pivoting right in the 11th hour contributed. Shuttering Walz and taming him against Vance also contributed.
