It’s worth buying this fortnight’s Private Eye for a devastating analysis of Teesworks, the failed levelling up Freeport. Something which the #NAO has been told to avoid.

The disappearing MP for Clacton.
This is where he is.

This was The Economist magazine eight years ago.
Truer now, isn’t it?

In my lifetime the UK might make it to the Customs Union.
But beware the deliberate booby trap of the two-decades licences to (usually massive overseas) corporations in Freeports & SEZs.

This is from a centre-right Australian politician, sadly accurate.

Complaint of the Week.
It’s not Musk’s other place. It’s Google’s YouTube. I have never looked at Katie Hopkins or bothered with any right wing nonsense, but each time I log in to YouTube -every day now - I’m presented with this list of empty-headed anti wokeness 🤬
Anyone else?
