They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

They are a reflection of those who stole our government. As much as America has spent time and money convicting organized criminal organizations, our country is now run by organized crime. MAGA is the new mafia.
ICE use of Border Control agents is disgusting. Most of these agents are criminals with a badge, running free rein on innocent people. Just like the prison guards ICE has hired. They are thugs and losers.

The only thing I gained from threads, other than a few decent friends, was finally exhausting all of my rage. I have absolutely nothing left. #Humanity chooses to be a scourge and nothing has ever been more wasteful. I don't know what's more depressing than that. Happy holidays, everyone?

I never imagined that I would lose someone to AIDS in 2025, but my beloved uncle just died of it in October. No one ran a test. 4yrs years of begging drs. A simple HIV test and antiviral meds, and he would be here. He died horribly. If you are sexually active at all, regardless of age, GET TESTED.

The thing about Newsom is that if it’s politically expedient, he’s shown a tendency to disavow support for vulnerable people. He needs to be grilled more about that. But because it’s politically expedient now, he’s facing reality and saying what we need Democrats at all levels to be saying.
