Producing this interview for "Wisconsin Today" on #WPR answered some big questions I've had about the new tariffs. WI businesses and friends: keep us in the loop as we start to see the full effect of the tariffs. Reach out to me if you want to talk!
How new tariffs on Mexico and Canada affect Wisconsin industries
President Trump implemented new 25 percent tariffs on most goods from Canada and Mexico and increased tariffs on imports from China. Wisconsin businesses are figuring out how to adjust.

A recent segment and article I'm proud of. We diverted a bit from our usual format and did this one Story Corps style: no host, just guests.
A Wisconsin couple wanted to adopt. As foster parents, their goal was to keep 4 siblings together.
The Benniers felt all the challenges of new parenthood at once, multiplied by four. Their kids’ biological mother is present in everyone’s lives. Hardships are all around — but so is love.

The CDC’s ACIP page was taken down to delete mentions of transgender and nonbinary people from the mpox vaccine description.

If people need to see childhood immunization schedules etc, those are still here:

Great interviews with two Hmong educators about expected cultural assimilation in the classroom — and what they’re doing about it. MaiKou Heu leads a new Hmong charter school opening next year in WI, and Professor Bic Ngo’s new book published by @uminnpress.bsky.social is incisive and illuminating.

The forensic pathologist shortage isn’t new by any means. But their jobs and others like it are fascinating and so important. It’s a field of caregivers that aren’t often talked about — those who care for us after we die. I kinda want to do a series on people in this field at some point…
