Virgina Woolf's writing desk is even messier than my writing desk:)

Inspired after visting Monk's House, where Virginia lived and wrote in a "shed" overlooking the South Downs.

She also died by going into the River Ouse near her home.

22 days ago today, Amma was brutally murdered. Her pain, her death, shaped me into the feminist activist I became.

So I've dedicated my book #BadDaughter to her.

"For Amma, because without you, I wouldn't be."

I know that her spirit sees who I've become & is proud.
