Slightly saddening and a reminder that creativity needs to step up and remind the money where the 'intelligence' came from in the first place. I'm hoping that Walt Disney takes things down a notch.
I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.

Trying to think of other revolutionary products that consumers repeatedly had to be tricked into paying for rather than ones that consumers loved and demanded
Fascinating. Microsoft emailed me to say it was raising the price of Microsoft 365, but when i went to cancel it offered me me the old price — without all the AI bullshit.

It’s forcing AI on everyone and making them pay more for it, then only telling them they don’t have to if they try to cancel.

In the aftermath of the cuts passing, we are sending solidarity to all Disabled people who feel worried about the future.

As a Disabled-led organisation, many of us feel the same - but these concessions showed the power of our movement, and that our strength to fight is growing!

Much of the Government's intention for cutting PIP and UC is to motivate people to find a job

But cutting social security can't 'incentivise' people into jobs that don't exist

New @jrf-uk.bsky.social analysis shows there are simply too few jobs for the Government's argument to hold

A photograph I started painting which is yet to be finished...though the 'pencil effect' of the greyscale adjustments make it a bit wow for me. This is not long before Poundland moved out and Sainsbury's moved in.
