Debates about repatriating Syrians who now live in Europe are really irritating. 1) #Syria is far from safe or stable, the outlook is uncertain to say the least 2) This isn’t a conversation anyone but Syrians themselves has the right to lead. Dismissing their agency in this way is absurd

It would have been interesting to see a newly appointed French Prime Minister choose Italy for their first official visit, but I suspect official visits are not the top priority at the moment
