So, subsequent to our Cali downpour of rain, I discovered this creature in my yard. I took a pic and looked it up. Just walking around my Colony community today, I saw more than a dozen. They are "pretty" deadly; detrimental to people and pets. Don't touch. Cone snails share.google/BasOyafGz9pT...

Went to my husband's high school reunion, reppin' him in remembrance at Mijares Restaurant in Pasadena (which I frequented when living/working in Pasadena) and hung with his long time friend and fellow classmate as well as my friend Gigs. A good night!

Glad the pain has ceased. I'm not ready yet, but mentally planning my decor for the winter holiday at this new abode. Snowman and flakes? I think we need to take a stand this year ... Snowladies.

He's a trooper whimpering only once before they kicked in this morning, healing, consuming food and water and resting. 🐾
