One planet. Two 'realities'.

The Irish government may talk the talk — but their actions speak louder than any promises.

Amid climate-driven suffering, they continue to prioritise profit over people, the planet, and public health.

It really is that simple.

Ryanair’s latest “look how much we’re flying” graphic leaves out a pretty important detail: their emissions and consequent harm to human health.

Pretty important as they're one of Europe's most polluting companies, but not to worry, I fixed it.

Conor Pope argues that an air-travel tax would be unfair.

We would like to remind him that the vast majority of people on Earth will never take a flight. It is a wealthy minority (read: us) who pollute, while others around the world bear the consequences.

So we ask: is that fair, Conor?

2️⃣ Use Ireland’s EU Presidency in 2026 to push to expand the ETS to emissions from int'l aviation.

3️⃣ Distribute revenues from a levy and extended ETS to drive climate action and equity domestically, accelerate the aviation transition, and contribute to Ireland’s share of int'l climate finance.

Then Ireland AM must also correct. We cannot have this level of dis- or misinformation in the final week of a presidential campaign.
