There is no main stream anymore so it feels like there is no way to have a "star" like we use to. Right now there is some PR company that is working, really, really hard to make Sydney Sweeny something huge and it is really annoying.

I just got back into magic after a two decade break, and having to explain the smell to my wife when we went into a game store was a thing. Closest thing to it is cat mace. Freaking crazy

I have reached a point where I genuinely think that outrage is being constructed as part of the marketing plan. Like, completely manufactured and snowballed out organically to drive engagement. But I could just be online too much and need to take a break. I donno.

One of the coolest parts of playing music is being able to jam with other people. Just playing random improvised things that will never be played again. Always thought that was rad.

It always bothered me that Metroid games from day one have been this style of game, but it took Castlevania to get all the way to ps1 to adopt that play style. Why does it get to share the name?
