One of my first jobs was singing telegrams and costumed characters. For one gig, I and another performer were preset plants at a luncheon, and while waiting, I was sitting by myself reading the program. The other entertainer complimented me on my good “cover.”

I miss my days working the polls, but until I have employees for my small business, it won’t be reasonable again. I do NOT miss 15 hour days so much.
