Back in the classroom, just on the other side - teaching a course on EU governance with a focus on Treaty reform & enlargement at Sciences Po.

Also a reality check of the political context students now live in - “war” came up as one of the main challenges for the EU.

German trains stop in Basel because the Swiss are fed up with the train chaos in Germany. @deutschebahn.bsky.social still pretends the trains go to Zurich in the app & then change it last minute on the board. Worst train company I’ve ever seen.

Really insightful breakfast event with the Secretary-General of the Council on the EU in 2024, organised by @centreeuropeanref.bsky.social @caminomortera.bsky.social Green Deal, Enlargement, Rule of Law & many more policy fields the Council will have to think of for the next Strategic Agenda.

Really like the fact that parties & parliamentary groups ask CSOs for their input ahead of the EP election campaigns. I joined Brussels in 2019 after the elections, so it’s a new experience for me to see the preparations ahead.
