I can't be the only one who feels this way. surely

I hope I can at least open the eyes of some to the fact that hypnosis doesn't have to be that way and really *shouldn't* be that way.

I want to show people the real joy, learning, and positive experiences that can be had with this craft.

It just saddens me that even people deeply within the scene can have a tendency to manipulate the public's perception of hypnosis into one that makes it at least a little bit gross, even if they're not aware that that's what they're doing.

This is just one example of the kinds of things these books have a tendency to promise and promote, but I ASSURE you there are far worse examples than this. I pretty much just chose one of the most common.

I get it's a marketing tactic, sure, but I also feel that it attracts a lot of the wrong people to this craft; the manipulative, controlling types.

We desperately need less of that, quite frankly.
