Disney's Aladdin is weird when you realize this entire story is told by a guy trying to sell you a lamp. And that either he's lying and this is a regular lamp, or he just told you the story of how this lamp contains a malevolent genie inside it. He's not a great salesman

Still very unsure how I feel about a running man remake, but it seems to be sticking to the novel more, and Edgar Wright directing and co-writing, I'm willing to give it more of a chance that some of the other remakes of 80s action flicks, which have by and large been terrible.

There was a line in an article I read about how "rock the casbah" somehow became really popular with far right conservatives, and boy, I have some bad news for them about the guy who wrote the lyrics to that song, and the message of the song itself

It's been my understanding since about 1985 that Bruce doesn't like being called "The Boss" but he's pretty much given up on telling people not to do it and "come to terms with being stuck with it"
So I don't call him that, because basic respect

I'm pretty sure recreating my vinyl collection and starting back up on trying to make music is my mid life crisis

#Sinners was in fact the best vampire movie I've seen this decade, and it's not even a close race. Probably won't win major oscars, but that's because the academy doesn't tend to like genre films. It deserves the awards though
