In the last few (tumultuous) years of my career, I have learned that I do NOT have what it takes to thrive in your fast-paced environment.
Because usually "fast-paced" means toxic, disorganized and competitive.
I want healthy-paced, efficient, collaborative work. THEN I'll thrive.

My uncle recently passed away unexpectedly. He was a strange man -- neurodivergent before neurodivergence was really recognized. But I got to hear his memorial service today from where he taught chemistry at Arizona State University. He was cherished by his colleagues and students.
