you can love a character and still admit when they're wrong. we love Shadow but we can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) and we can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he has never done anything wrong in his life) and call him out on his actions (which are always correct)

now that we're cleaning up the debris from this phase / era of #doctorwho, i think the fandom owes a debt of gratitude and thanks to steffan powell. as fun and insightful as "confidential" was in its heyday, #doctorwho unleashed was a major upgrade in every way, and powell was a big part of that
