Blast from the past while bringing my kid to his cello lesson. I see the book Meldious Etudes for Trombone by Rochut and noticed that my old teacher Alan Raph did an edit on it before he died last year.

I need to find book one and see if his published edits match the handwritten ones in my copy.

I whole heartedly think that every parent should find a way of buying a 3d printer to have in the house.

My 11 year old asked to borrow my calipers and made himself a stand for his steam deck today with zero help from me. I don’t think there is a better way for a kid to spend their Saturday.

Find a partner who doesn’t give a shit about the stuff you don’t give a shit about. For us it’s stupid stuff like fancy wrapping paper… not needed. Cover the present, that’s all that matters.
