This is a candle holder I made many years ago when I could still work with stained glass. It's massively cheery, so I thought I'd share it. Hoping to be able to work with stained glass more in the future. I have to hold on to that hope.

Jester convinced me I can be in an #MECFS crash just as easily outside on the lawn swing. He was right. Very grateful I still have the outside in a crash option.

My parents' cat, the Captain, went exploring and got stuck in the neighbor's garage over the weekend. My weekend was filled with making flyers and going door-to-door asking people to check their garages and sheds. Captain is home now and doing fine, but my weekend chores are finding weekday homes.

Harvest (Kat'leen's mom) was on death's door when I got her, but she was still caring for her two kittens. She definitely got the kitty Mama of the year award. Here she is sitting atop a stained glass pattern.

Sara was also an unadoptable foster due to a closed head injury; when she was 5 weeks old, her former owner thwacked her on her head. Sara has muscular problems, but hunts for catnip toys and shredded dog toy bits and proudly brings them to my bed to make a lovely bedtime snack for me.

Kat'leen thinks her picture should be on the bag. I think she's right. Kat'leen was one of my fosters who didn't get adopted due to kitty PTSD. She's always done well here, so I adopted her. I got her as a foster when she was 5 weeks old, along with her Mama and sister.

This is my dog, Jester. He is a border Collie/Greyhound mix. He's blind from birth and loves listening to the neighborhood. He got his name because one of his ears flops to the front and the other flops to the side, like a jester's hat.
