I love that Pokemon Home does this so much, it might even be my favourite feature of anything ever. Having a complete living Pokedex but still needing to catch them in these specific areas to get Meloetta is such a fun and necessary grind that I definitely don't hate.

I'll admit, the series of Pokemon as a whole is the comfort game for me, Gen 5 just happens to be my favourite. It's a really special one I only break out once or twice a decade, to really savour the experience of.

Fire Emblem Three Houses was my pandemic comfort game, but it also kinda extended beyond that. In 2022 I had the worst panic attack of my life and triggered a series of events that had me deeply questioning my own mortality.

I got a PS Vita and Persona 4 Golden for Christmas back in 2013. At the time, I was living in really shitty conditions with a parent's ex who was super abusive. I basically did nothing but stay in my room and play this for weeks.

I wanted to make a thread to yap about some comfort games as a sortof get-to-know-me type thing and also to hopefully attract more people who are interested in my things so here we go
