Just downloaded your „Solo Roleplay Made Simple“ and I think it really boils down the essence very well. I like it a bit more than my post on Substack, I must admit haha.

Also absolutely great design on all of your stuff!

Nice post, thanks for sharing! I do something similar:
> Setup: In a [location], I encounter a [character/event/obstacle].
> Objective: I want [x], but [y] makes it difficult.
> Action: The action I take to get what I want.
> Resolution: Die roll result, description of the outcome.

I am going to save this! Is this the same for ever scene? Does every scene is about one challenge?

100% feel the same!

Definitely pick it up - it's dirt cheap! I find that a lot of my play happens between sessions in just imagining more about my world and possible directions to take my characters.

Great episode! I always see Cairn on Amazon but never bought it yet.

What is holding back me personally is just finding enough time. So I usually try to just add at least a single line per day to my (digital) journal.

It indeed does. I started to use a „Combat die“ depending on the current chaos factor (the higher the factor the less sides the die has e.g. D4 for Chaos Factor 9).

On a 1 it triggers a (random) Combat.
