UPDATE: Montana's single-stair bill has passed both chambers and is moving to Governor Gianforte's desk.

Another stark reminder of the need for land-use reform. Exclusionary zoning makes it impossible to build the affordable housing we need. Sad to see an affordable housing developer sell a site that could've housed our low-income community members

Great to meet Kymberly, an LD 24 resident and Habitat for Humanity homeowner. Large lot size requirements in cities can be a huge barrier to nonprofit developers like Habitat. I’ll keep fighting for bills like the Starter Homes Act so more people like Kymberly can achieve homeownership.
