I received a phone call from my younger brother asking for help since he is not getting SNAP benefits and he needs food for both of his daughters.
My younger brother is a person that never asks for help and he works nonstop so that phone call broke my heart.
No one should ever go hungry.

My dad had surgery done. While the surgery was a success, he is having serious complications now and it's currently in the ICU.
I went to visit him and it took a lot in me not to break down and cry.
