Today, the temperature is beautiful, but the air? It’s choked with particulated smog.

This is from IQAir on 12:35 on Thursday, August 1 in Chicago.

The way in which this is becoming a regular occurrence is hard on the heart. (Literally and figuratively.)

All of these represent particulate levels designated as unsafe and are known to cause inflammation in the body, and indicate the need to take precautions.
