Anyone feeling retro? We sure did while working on this cassette tape-inspired case for the KeebDeck Basic!

The Basic is our first product using the KeebDeck Keyboard, a cost-effective way to demonstrate the capabilities of the Keyboard. It works as USB HID over USB-C. Also includes an unpopulated Qwiic footprint with an I2C interface compatible with our previous BBQ20 boards

The KeebDeck Keyboard is the result of years of R&D to create an affordable and widely available handheld keyboard for makers and hackers. The result is a compact (85x48 mm) 69-key alphanumeric silicone keypad with an orthogonal layout based on standard PC keyboards.

The wait is finally over, we're happy to announce that the KeebDeck Keyboard and our first product using it, the KeebDeck Basic, are now available for sale from our @lectronz.com store! ⌨️

The Keyboard has 69 keys with the usual PC layout, and a few extra ones color symbols and colors. It also has some extra colorful macro keys at the top. There is a Solder Party logo on the Meta key as well as in the middle of the top row. Set up a little typing speed test for folks at #KiCon to try out the #KeebDeck Mini ☺️
The KeebDeck Mini connected over USB to a laptop it's sitting on. The laptop is showing a paragraph from Alice in wonderland to be typed in 30 seconds. Same setup but now the laptop is showing the results with 43.2 wpm and 100% accuracy.

We've added the Combo RP2xxx Stamp footprints found on our Stamp Carrier XL boards to the Stamp Footprints repository (for KiCad, Eagle, and EasyEDA) so that anyone can use them in their designs 🥳

We have also certified three more of our products in October ☺️
3 emails from oshwa on October 11th, each confirming a new product of ours being certified. The products are the RP2350 Stamp and Stamp XL, as well as the Carrier XL.

When used with the RP2350 Stamp XL, the RP2xxx Stamp Carrier XL becomes a full-fledged Uno-form factor RP2350B dev board with USB Device and Host, a micro HDMI-shaped connector, microSD, Qwiic, 2 user buttons, a user LED, and lots of GPIOs!

It can be powered over USB, DC, or LiPo.
