Trumpism narrative:

Climate Change is a hoax.
Wildfires are worse because there are to many trees.
Cut trees down and fires will go away.

Reality:

Climate change gets worse because of burning stuff and tree felling.
So fires return/continue even with fewer trees.

Agrarian nostalgia is not a solution. A solarpunk future isn’t just community gardens and windmills—it’s supply chains, materials science, and AI-driven efficiency. If we don’t build for scale, we fail.

Look at this nightmare scene!

These 467 sheep are tormented by eating abundant grass daily & basking in the shade on this 330 acre solar farm while they increase the soil’s organic content.

In further tragedy, the #solar farm has saved $ via the sheep & avoided any use of any mechanical mowers.

I'm really happy to be alive and to experience all the things I do experience.

That's it. I just wanted to express that.

Dreaming of a solarpunk future? Good. Now ask yourself: How does it work? Who builds it? Who maintains it? If you can’t answer that, it’s time to rethink the narrative.

Solarpunk gets a bad rap for being all vibes, no infrastructure. If we want a sustainable future, we need more engineering and fewer aesthetic Pinterest boards.

If nature designed the internet, would it look anything like what we have now?

I’m back to challenge how we build digital products—because tech should adapt to people and the planet, not the other way around.

What’s one digital habit you think we need to rethink?

Automation isn’t about replacing the human touch—it’s about freeing our creative energy for deeper connections.

Which routine tasks have you automated to focus on what truly matters?

There's a housing crisis in many cities.

But cars can park free.

Why not claim public street-space for those who need it?

If you disguise your shelter as a polluting, duly-licensed private vehicle, as artist Michael Rakowitz did...

...the authorities should be fine with it, right?

Solar car parks maximize infrastructure for energy, but what about agrivoltaics?

Solar panels can protect crops, boosting yields while generating energy.

It’s not fields vs. car parks—it’s smarter land use for energy, food, and sustainability.

Thoughts?

Are we innovating towards balance, or just looping through a tech-fueled paradox?

Listening to Ada Palmer on 'Hope Is A Verb' was eye-opening: the world has always seemed like it’s collapsing, yet we keep saving it. 🌍 Progress is constant, but our bias for danger makes us miss the small wins. A reminder to celebrate those too!
