I resigned from my church because I am overworked (bivocational) and feeling so disillusioned with my denomination over the harm they’ve caused my spouse (also clergy). I didn’t realize the strong bonds I feel toward the congregation and the way their grief is also my grief. It’s weighing heavily.

We’ve been trying for years to do this, but we are redoubling our efforts to participate as little in this rotten system as possible. Canceling Amazon, everything but public supported media, focus on local, second hand, DIY, etc.
