We plan to import old comments eventually, just not right when we're back.

Mod UI is making good progress and some of the missing functions our moderators will need are being implemented right now. And of course lots and lots of fixes for annoying things, like layout snafus, SF2 submmission import fixes and more! [2/2]

Exam season & work did us in but we hope you'll forgive us for taking a bit longer still. Progress is still being made, so stay tuned for more updates soon.

We also have to resize the storage array from the beta sizing before going live, and fix a few other issues. But we're getting there!

Normally we would've done all that in the background, but the forced move made that impossible. Also, the business model of SF is to be there for the users. We don't have a budget, employees, or really a business. (handful of ad banners that don't cover the cost notwithstanding)

I have been on a business trip for the past week, with no chance to work on SF. Terra is still on a business trip. We're the two critical resources for this.
Money isn't the issue right now, it's people. And it's more than just a server move, it's also about migration etc.

3) Backup server is up and running, has SF2 db loaded & working for the migration. This server will also get approx. $1000 worth of SSDs added once SFX is going.

2) Firewall is almost ready, after some issues initially, it seems to work now. We're gonna do some more testing just to be sure, then send it to the data center.
If this firewall shouldn't work out, there is a fallback solution but that's an additional $1500 - which we try to prevent [2/3]

[2/2] Bad news is that our US hardware is still in the old datacenter waiting to be moved & we've just been told there may be some additional delays of up to 2 weeks to get that done. We'll try to get as much done in preparation for the data migration while we wait for that.
