ares is also on flathub and seems to have a good NES emulator, not sure how it works on the deck specifically though

Godot also has the mono version with c# support (and there's gdextension) but im not sure if that would avoid gdscript entirely + it still doesn't work on web yet.

also tic80 has a lotta overlap with pico8 but has much larger cart sizes? might be worth a look

cohost also had drama about changing TOS, they banned loli content (with an initial carveout for cub that they backed off on). Moderation is tough like that!

Also noncon has been in the guidelines, I'm curious what actual enforcement changes will happen after this change.
