As a Jewish woman whose family lived through Soviet repression, I find this kind of comparison dangerous. Alcatraz may be cruel, but Auschwitz was genocide. Let’s be careful with history.

I don’t agree with everything Cassidy did, but calling him worse than the fanatics? That’s a bit much.
There’s real harm being done, yes… but maybe the problem runs deeper than two senators.
