A friend of mine said to me a while ago that they were afraid of finding out about the last bee dying while at work and only having a moment to think "oh damn" before having to go to another meeting about nothing. And welp... that pretty much sums up where we're at.
Missed this, from @olliemilman.bsky.social, when it came out last week. It's a story that should be getting more attention, for all sorts of reasons, including the fact that the USDA is now crippled by cuts.
