Based in Grant Park. I love Atlanta, Hot dogs, cheeseburgers, auto racing, Philadelphia, and guitars amongst other things. Not the worst attorney in the world. I also make food and like modes of transportation. Typos mean it's really me. He/Him.
Piss tape.

I think you got it just right. Was curious is all. May have found someone to get it to now.

And I've had the little Pete thing with the lost song not once but twice with Jimmy Eat World's Lucky Denver Mint and Weezer's The Good Life.

Like I took notes on how many time you've heard the main song in the film to make a note on how talented Adam Schlesinger was as a songwriter for a longer form writing and also kept taking side notes on Zahn's character he's that good for a fake band biopic.

This is a stock response for me when apropos.

Oh i want to fight only because Sid Straw and Marshall Crenshaw are super accomplished musicians in their own right. Along with the episode of Doug where he and Skeeter get stranded on the way to a Beets concert, this is up there with most influential on my life TV episodes.

Even the subtle stuff. Like the first live performance, he realizes it's the right tempo and goes with. (After saying Guy was rushing it at practice ar first). Just a go with the flow and enjoying it type who wasn't overwritten either.

*Life and Fate because of course weird autocorrect hated that.

Like I will not spoil one of the most powerful moments of 20th century literature, but if you know, you know.

It was MY sock!

But yeah at risk of earnest posting, that was what I saw LE should be doing (keeping an eye out for folks and helping them out) to the point I bought it when I did it.

Like when I say that episode significantly influenced my future world outlook, it was layers deep.
November 12, 2025 at 1:43 AM
I shit you not - his attitude on seeing Doug and Skeeter was a huge influence on how I approached the job in my prior career.
November 12, 2025 at 1:42 AM
YES. The episode where they overstay at the diner and miss the bus to Bloatsburg was a HUGELY influential piece of media to me.

They did such a good job giving the four main band members their own personality/tropes. I don't care if it's kind of a cornball feel good movie, it was fantastically crafted for each character.
November 12, 2025 at 1:25 AM
My only complaint would be that they were a real band masquerading as a Beatles rip-off band. What a fantastic set of songs they had.
November 12, 2025 at 1:24 AM
I love thos whole movie to death, but I think Steve Zahn is the absolute prefect character for it.
November 12, 2025 at 1:21 AM
Oh, I was laughing too. Even moresonwjen the next week I saw little county logo stickers at eye level like they do for birds.
November 12, 2025 at 1:10 AM
Oh, at length. Ive even had my times I go full head up my own ass and do some shoegazy textural stuff, but you still need that base rhythm for it to work. See why I love Ride so much. And the guitar work on Smashing pumpkins.
