Meet Cookie Doodles. 3yr old quaker parrot. I’m her 4th home, she didn’t even have a name! Needless to say, no way I was going to leave her waiting for a home! It’s about 4 months now, and she’s starting to settle, but she’s not tame like the others, she’s a challenge at the moment!

Bloody beaks eat better than I do! Today’s delicious birds breakfast chop…peppers, green beans, pear, Brussels sprouts, pomegranate, celery and chilli’s.
And now they’re quite enough for me to enjoy my coffee!

Took me quite a while, but what a kit. Now I need to figure out where to put it, it’s too big for any of my shelves! Not a cheap kit by any means, but worth every penny. If you want to spend 30+hrs fiddling, I’d highly recommend this one.

It’s really changed over the last 20yrs or so. This is one of thier flagship kits, over 3500 pieces! Going to wall mount it when it’s done.

One for the #AFOL - Still chipping away at my birthday present to myself. Not even halfway yet, but what a kit. Fiddly. But so many interesting details. The guys who design this stuff are engineering geniuses. Superb kit.

Pixel is very very tame, I’ve had her since she was about 12 wks old. If she bits me, I definitely deserve it! Widget is more feral, it’s hard to train and tame him with Pixel demanding my time, but he’s getting there. P is now 5 and W is 4. I got him because she needed a bird friend.
