So it’s a bit Costco-like there? No, that’s not Aldi here - it’s all low cost brands, own brands and “special buys” (these change regularly- anything from camping to cookware - and can be crap or genuinely excellent value).

Budget booze if that’s your thing.

Aldi does multiple knock-off brands or discounts of popular big name brands. Some of these brands (like their organic range) are excellent for the price compared to the large supermarket duopoly that exists in Australia. There are misses but mostly I love Aldi for decent food options on a budget.

Friend puts this chilli crisp on hummus. Sounds weird but so good.

Love a good risotto. Also fan of toasting the rice and using good quality Carnoli rice.

I don’t understand Pimento cheese but that looks good.

The molds are super cool. Just not the jello. Great idea using for cakes.

Jell-O vodka shots. Jello in pavlova. Instant packet jellos in lurid colours - such were the many jellos of my youth. Maybe that’s why I find them so off-putting.
