Currently working on a temperature map. Have some in progress pictures of the hot and cold spots on the planet (the color is just what causes them, it doesn't have anything to do with their actual temperature aside from warm=Hotspot cool=coldspot)

The majority of the planet's landmass is concentrated into one large supercontinent, with a huge inland sea in the center. The same thing, but for northern hemisphere winter. There are far fewer of both hot and cold spots.

Also, a map of continentality. Essentially, how much the temperature in an area varies throughout the year.

Hey! I got some more work done! Sorry for the slow progress. School is back, and it's kinda taking a lot out of me. Here is a map of rainfall on CD-1, northern hemisphere summer and winter, respectively.

What is her plan here
A (probably) Egyptian mau cat, standing in a very precarious position. Her two left feet are on a plant pot, and her two right feet are on the lip of a half-wall trim. There are no obvious places for her to get to from there.

Alright! We're doing weather now 😌 here are the ocean currents during northern hemisphere summer and winter, respectively.

Huh. There's the northeastern side done I guess... that took, like... maybe 30 minutes... I think that first mountain range being so long has made me overestimate how long this would take.

On the north side, there is a major contrast between the east and the west, with the east being significantly flatter comparatively. The western side is very closed off by the mountains around it. A closeup of the northeastern side of the map. It is, indeed,very flat. There is one strip of higher terrain in the center. There is also a small mountain range in the southeast.

Built up a bunch more, I'm really liking how this northwest area is turning out! Very interesting how it's ended up so cut off from the rest of the continent and the greater ocean. Just that one little access point to the waters of the lesser ocean.

The whole area is enclosed by tall mountains, aside from one opening into the smaller ocean in the center of the continent. A closer view of the northwest section of the map, the mountains in the south are quite steep and very thick, with a very large Plateau. To the north, there are thinner mountains. However, there is also a segment of flatter, high altitude ground around them. The mountains to the west and east are smaller but still quite tall. There is one opening to a sea in the southeast.

A closeup of the larger blob of mountain, it butts up against the coast very closely, and so has a very steep slope on that side, while the other side is a much shallower slope

Decided I didn't like how shallow the back slope was so I changed it 👍
The same topographic map as before but with a slight change to the steepness of the north-south mountain range's steepness. A close-up of the north-south mountain range, the back slope is now much steeper, almost as steep as the front.

Mountain range two! This one took significantly less time because it was much shorter. You may also notice that new, higher elevation section in the first mountain range's outer-arc ridge, that's because of a large igneous province there that I did quickly as well.

Anyway here's a map because it's been far too long for my brain since I posted any tangible progress. I'm almost there, though. This is my mountain ranges and large igneous provinces, which are grouped together because I felt like it. Red is LIP's, and the lighter the brown the older the mountain.
A map of CD-1, the supercontinent planet that I'm working on, with mountain ranges, both ancient and new, marked, as well as large igneous provinces, which are essentially areas where a lot of magma pushed up through the crust making the area bulge and creating a spot with a lot of igneous rocks. There are quite a few mountains, especially on the west and northwestern side of the continent.

This is harder than I thought it would be

I also added those fronting islands to the chains on CD-2 and removed some of those central islands on the east side of the northwestern continent cause that formation didn't really make much physical sense.

Before I get into topology, I wanted to clean up some stuff with islands and make it more realistic. Changed my Phillipines equivalent again, made the central islands a bit smaller to mimic the real Phillipines better, and added islands in front of the southwesternmost islands cause I forgot them.
