Firm believer in the Oxford comma. One of those Quiet Gays.
I think it says something about the media I most often consume that my first reaction to this headline was "Huh, good for them!" 🏳️‍⚧️

Yes, Google AI, that is indeed Rachael Lippincott and Alyson Derrick, the well known husband-and-wife writing team. Known for writing sapphic rom-coms that draw inspiration from their own lives and experiences.

If you are hurting, if you are angry in this moment, I hope you will come together with us in community, to remember and honor them.

Forget the Dining Philosophers. How about two trans women in restroom stalls, neither willing to encounter another woman in the restroom, each waiting for the other to leave first?

On the brighter side of electrolysis, my dermatologist wanted to freeze a mole off with liquid nitrogen.

Him: "You're ok? This isn't too much? I can pause if you need a minute."

Me: "I had 7 straight hours of electrolysis a few weeks ago."

Him: "... 😧 Oh. Well, I guess you're okay then..."

Something I've learned from electrolysis: even after you numb up a patch of skin to the point where you can't actually feel it, it can still get an itch. But you can't scratch the itch, because the skin does not "feel" the scratch, so it just stays itchy.

This seems tragically unfair.
