Slightly Eccentric Food Reviews

This nougat tastes like a marshmallow version of Clint Eastwood. Obstinate cotton candy. Here's my slightly eccentric review of this imported Italian treat from Aldi.

(Spoilers: it comes in strawberry, pistachio, chocolate, and amaretto flavors.)

I don't think I've seen these at my Costco location before. Intrigued.
If only they were dark chocolate, instead of milk. 😿 Alas, cruel world.

Here's my review of Costco's Pumpkin Pie. One of my earliest reviews ever written. Enjoy.

Here's my slightly eccentric review of these frozen Mini Quiche appetizers. Spoilers: tender crusts made with butter, and fluffy filling full of eggs, milk, and cheese.

They come in two different flavors, and you get 72 individual quiches per box:

It's pumpkin spice season, and there's nothing anyone can do to stop it. Muahahahaaa!

Here's my silly review of Sam's Club Pumpkin Cheesecake, which is $1.35 per slice:

(Last year I reviewed Costco's version, which is equally gargantuan.)

I entered enemy territory today. I'm a Costco shopper, but Sam’s Club had an “Open House” event this weekend, where non-members could shop the store for free. And, $195.38 later, I’m ready to tell you about my adventure.

I think I spent a solid 15 hours putting this list together. Here's a rundown of the baking supplies I buy (or don't buy) from Costco. Because, maybe you're a weirdo like me, and loooove lists!

This is my second favorite BBQ sauce. It's full of twangy mustard satisfaction, and costs $2.99 per bottle. There's substantially less sugar per serving, with only 10 grams per serving. Made with cane sugar and molasses, but no corn syrup:

They're made with chicken franks, and feature a "honey crunch" breading.
