I need my people to be patient with me. It’s bad enough that I have to keep saying “no…no, that’s not it” while I’m still trying to remember a simple phrase. It’s made worse when what they’re guessing is just so…far off? Like…have they even been listening?

Thanks! It was…a journey 😂 eventually I’m gonna paint my cabinets some obnoxious color but I’m currently entwined in a different all-consuming project 😂

I used eggshell wall paint, but when I got to the end (which was the middle of the wall) I ran out of white so I used acrylic to mix the last two colors. That meant I had two glossy triangles (oops) so I covered more triangles with a clear gloss and wow what a happy accident

Earlier this year I managed to find a $180 Cotopaxi puffer vest for $50 IN MY SIZE and every time I put it on it whispers to me “you and me forever, babe” so yeah. It does. But my midwestern genes are always ecstatic to find good quality *on clearance*

Yeah there is one store where I can find pants/jeans in extra short 😂 I bought a pair of crop jeans last year - they hit the floor. My new crop leggings cover my feet!

I’m in St Louis, but in my advanced age I find in-store shopping unbearable 😂 I’ve done Poshmark, with mixed success. And unfortunately…my experience with thrift stores is “yes we have two potato sacks in your size, you’re welcome” 😂

I understand that buying slow fashion is almost more of an…investment, I suppose? But I am no longer in a position of having that kind of discretionary income, and this…well, it’s just a lot to pay out at once for TWO SHIRTS. Bah. Fuck capitalism 3/3
