Lastly the 80s-inflected signature theme of ST will probably stay imprinted in my brain as if I'd watched this during my childhood. Derry's old-timey sounds and tunes just can't compete, not to mention the creepy contexts that they're always played in. Not something I'm going to add to a playlist.

Ofc there have been 4 seasons of one and the other just 3 eps so far but ST sucked me in the first time (and even on my recent rewatches!) in a way that I did not find with this It show. The horror in Derry overall feels less earned and thus took me out of the story a few times.
