This club moss from the previous shot is Lycopodium obscurum. It's not a moss; it looks more like a miniature conifer and descended from giant 100 ft tall seedless lycophytes that dominated the coal swamps of the Carboniferous Period #NaturePhotography #beauty #nature #evolution #wetlands #clubmoss
