In this thread, "community" is proposed as a solution to burnout.
I agree, but have a few caveats. Avery Alder's The Quiet Year stands as a good argument for how communities function, often through politics of inaction and resentment, as much as there are also politics of mutual aid present. 1/12

Some more thoughts on Burnout.
We find ourselves in late stage capitalism: working longer hours, staying "connected" to work through our devices, and carrying the emotional weight of global awareness through social media.
