a common defence of genAI is it’s a tool, and tools are neutral and can be used in good or bad ways
but LLMs and transformers are tools - chatGPT is a *product*, openAI are using the tools in a bad way!
it‘s like arguing Amazon exploitative practices can be mitigated by shopping well with them

![Start by pushing those broad rhythms to make your choices CLEAR. [a sketch of very pushed rhythms so that it's obvious where things are going. Pushed far beyond what we would see IRL].
Then, elaborate and describe. [The previous sketch turned red with lowered opacity, as new lines overtop show how I use those original rhythms as a basis for developing nuance without getting rid of the original lines]
